Pamela Merino, MD, is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Board-Certified in Lifestyle Medicine, and Board-Certified in Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Merino opened her solo practice in October 2006 in Coral Gables, Florida, offering internationally renowned, excellent medical services to all her patients, always striving to meet all their needs. She is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Hospital.
✓ A Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine Specialist makes use of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet, physical activity, adequate sleep, tobacco cessation, and other non-drug modalities to prevent, treat, and often, reverse chronic disease.

Dr. Merino serves on the faculty of Florida International University (FIU) as an Associate Professor of Medicine and in the past has served on the faculties of New York Medical College School of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine and Nursing, and as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Miami.

• Dr. Pamela Merino completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Danbury Hospital, a program of Yale Medical School in Danbury, Connecticut and New York Medical College and also completed her post-graduate coursework at Harvard Medical School.
• Dr. Merino received the distinctions of Cum Laude, and Medical Student Honors in 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990 as a medical student at the Hospital Central, Fuerzas Armadas, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena Medical School, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
